Virginia Hunter Education
Taught over two evenings and one full day, this course is the Hunter
Education Course that is required of new hunters to receive hunting
license. There is no charge for the Virginia Hunter Education
Course Each course is taught from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on
Wednesday and Friday evenings and from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on

Saturday, August 19, 9 a.m. - NRA Refuse to Be a Victim
- A three to four hour seminar geared toward awareness and prevention
of criminal confrontations. Topics include home, automobile,
personal and Internet security. We show how to integrate
common-sense safety strategies into your own individual
lifestyle. The seminar is not about guns, nor is it about joining
the NRA. It simply provides participants with the information
needed to minimize their chances of criminal attack.
Cost: Arlington-Fairfax Chapter members and their families - $30.00. Non-members - $50.00

Saturday, August 19, 1 p.m. - First Steps - Pistol.
A course to provide beginning shooters with an introduction to the
knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to own and use a specific
pistol model safely.
Cost: Arlington-Fairfax Chapter members and their families - $30.00. Non-members - $50.00
Saturday, September 9, 9 a.m. - Personal Protection in the Home.
A course to develop the basic knowledge, skills and attitude essential
to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and
family and to provide informtion on the law-biding citizen’s
right to self-defense.
Cost: Arlington-Fairfax Chapter members and their families - $30.00. Non-members - $50.00
Saturday, December 9, 9 a.m. - Shotgun Shell Reloading.
A course to provide beginning reloaders with the basic knowledge,
skills and attitude necessary to safely reload shotgun shells.
Cost: Arlington-Fairfax Chapter members and their families - $30.00. Non-members - $50.00
Sunday, December 10, 9 a.m. - Metallic Cartridge Reloading.
A course to provide beginning reloaders with the basic knowledge,
skills and attitude necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges.
