Nominations Needed

By the time you read this, a Nominating Committee will have been appointed to come up with a slate of candidates to fill te expiring terms of certain Board of Directors members.  Positions available are: Vice-President, Treasurer, Designated Directors for Conservation, Target Archery,Skeet & Trap and Youth Activities, plus four Director-at-Large positions. Each of the Board positions carries a great deal of responsibility, some even more than others.  There is a need for members who will commit to serving the needs of the chapter as necessary and at least two formal meetings each month.  The officers, of course, have many more responsibilities than the directors, but the managing of the chapter should be a team effort and each of the team should be as knowledgeable as possible about the affairs of the chapter and its sub-groups, the day-to-day operations to keep them functioning smoothly, and conditions of and on the chapter property. A highly developed sense of responsibility and dedication to the welfare of the Arlington-Fairfax Chapter is necessary.  Arlington-Fairfax is the largest chapter in the United States.  Arlington-Fairfax has many active programs.  The Arlington-Fairfax governing body must deal with members, neighbors and the community at large in a pro-active, fair and compassionate manner. Are you willing to commit to the welfare of your chapter?
